Yeah REV’IT! Has different sizes, the ones I used that fit are RV13 for shoulders and RV15 for elbows, I hope that helps.

No problem, glad you find them helpful. Well if its strictly a summer jacket I like the light weight and fit of the Control Air better, but, the Tornado is more versatile with multiple layers so it really depends on if you need/want that versatility. If you are strictly all summer then I think the Control Air is the route I would go.

No idea, have you tried reversing the install? I have had mine on for about 4 months now without issues. Try reaching out to Motodynamic and see if they have any ideas.

@@FifthNorth yeah I ended up not getting those rubber sheaths all the way over the metal connectors and it blew the ignition fuse. Easy fix

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they are almost identical, if the matador was too short, the Parallax will be as well.

Both are good, but, lately I have been doing about 90% of my rides in the Marrakesh and have been loving it. I got the MG exclusive grey/blue color that I am wearing in the video, does a great job keeping me cool.

​@@FifthNorthSo two issues with Marrakesh for me. 1 it's very difficult to find in India even compared to Revit. So will definitely have to import it. Second thing is that I want pockets for chest protectors and it doesn't look like Marrakesh has it. So I'm currently trying to decide between RS Taichi Kompass Air and the Revit Airwave 4

I have heard mixed opinions on that, but more say that the Marrakesh flows more air than the induction pro. Personally in riding in both I am not sure that I could tell the difference as I felt that both flowed really well.

@@FifthNorth I'm dialing in from 40C hot Greek air. Traditional mesh jackets don't make the cut. THat's why I am asking.

Not that I have seen, but honestly I also didn't look that hard for one as I was happy with the Triumph option.

The silver-black color way is really like a slightly off white and not really a silver, so that may be what you are looking for.

Never weighed it so I couldn't tell you, but in wearing it it didn't feel at all heavy for a Moto jacket, definitely on the lighter side of the scale.

Yeah I think the relay may have been specific to older generations of the 401, I have only tried it on my model year so I can't confirm if it will work or not on other model years.

Unfortunately I only am interested in jackets and pants that have a AA or AAA abrasion resistance rating, as for me a single A (which is what the Alpinestars Viper V3 Jacket has) just isn't enough.

I didn't find them too difficult to secure.

Hate to disappoint but I have no experience with RS Taichi as a brand, never worked with them or tried on any of their gear., so I can't really give you an opinion.

Ohh okay. Thanks for your reply. I have a doubt about the protectors. Does the back protector change sizewise or is it modelwise? Is it like Airwave 4 takes an RV 06 back protector? If ​so can you let me know about the type of shoulder and elbow protectors it takes when I want to upgrade to level 2@@FifthNorth

@@KurianJohnMusic The back protector changes size-wise. The 03 is for the XS, the 04 is SM-MD, the 05 is LG-2XL, and the 06 is 3XL-6XL. REV'IT sells level 2 elbow and shoulder protectors on their website, pretty sure it fits all of their jackets.

Yeah I have heard that from a few people in person, seems like the opinion on the Airwave 4 redesign is fairly divided.

The airwave 4 is available in 5 colors, I am not that familiar with the Induction SE as I have never tried one on before. As for the Airwave, it hasn't gotten over 85 here yet (at least not when I was out riding) so I can't say for sure, but based off of what I have experienced so far, it should do just fine in 80-90 degree weather.

that's a bit tough as I would say a lot of it is subjective, and about how a jacket fits you, but if I am looking at AAA rated, I like the REV'IT! Control leather jacket (I have a review video for it as well), or if AA I have probably put the most miles on my REV'IT! Matador jacket, it has done really well, has solid perforation and just fits me like a glove (I have a video for this one too) or the one that had my eye in the past with the V3 and now just came out with a 4th version is the Alpinestars GP Plus R V4 Ride knit, but I don't have as much experience with this one as I have only tired it on and like how it looks/the features it has but I haven't yet ridden in it (hopefully soon). @@FifthNorth thanks a bunch as I was eyeing 3 of Revit’s jackets. I found the Control to be kind of tight around my chest in a 56, but the liner was in.

@@FifthNorth looks like the Argon 2 is AAA rated leather and level 2 armor where the Matador is AA rated. I guess a kind of bargain at $499 MSRP

Oh yeah the Argon 2 is a great deal for what you get…I like the way the Matador fits me better, but definitely no knocks on the Argon 2.

It does, but not as much as I would like. On a scale of 1-10 it's like a 4.

Should be super easy, at the top of each armor pocket there are velcro sealed openings, once you open them, the armor slides right out

Thank you! Yes the rain liner I was able to wear stand alone, on inside of jacket and outside of jacket. As for the proteus jacket part of the question, I am not sure, haven’t had any experience with the proteus armored jacket. Thanks for watching!
